On the 14th December, 2017, David Collinson, a great fundraiser and champion for Kidney Research, died following a very recent cancer diagnosis.
David supported Kidney Research Yorkshire for many years, organising Zumbathons at his local gym, bag packing and a parachute jump plus many more events.
Anthony, David’s son, was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease when he was 21. David was 72 and became Anthony’s live donor and within a few short months, was back at the gym and Zumba classes.
He will be greatly missed by many, as he was such a kind and generous man. It was a pleasure to have been in his company.
