Apply for a Grant

The charity invites applications for grants in renal research to be carried out in universities and hospitals across Yorkshire and the Humber. Most grants are awarded for up to three years, though these can be extended to support the next stage in the research process.

Applications must be submitted in the correct format are then reviewed to ensure that the research criteria are being met. Applications are then peer reviewed to ensure that the project is worthy of support.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU DOWNLOAD THE APPLICATION FORM FROM THIS SITE. PREVIOUS PAPER VERSIONS OF THE APPLICATION FORM CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.

The Charity will accept applications for grant funding during two three month periods each year. These are 1st April to 30th June and 1st October to 31st December in any year. Applications received outside these periods will be returned to the applicant.

A grant application titled York New Haemodialysis Starter Pathway was received by Dr Paul Laboi from York Hospital in the applications window ending 31st December 2018 After review by the Charity’s Trustees and our Scientific Advisor – we are pleased to announce that his application was approved for funding.
